Sadly, Deke never did a review for the album.

man, the Descendents were so fucking great! Too bad so many cheezy fake punk bands ripped off their sound and got rich.
Quick Descendents story=a buddy of mine back in the day, his band(who shall remain nameless..okay, it was The Hickoids) on one of their many endless tours, their drummer kept playing a Descendents tape in the van, to the point where everybody in the band was just SICK of hearing it.
At some point in the trip, this drummer guy finds out that one of the Descendents guys had fucked his girlfriend after a gig in in Austin, while this poor chump was out driving around the country...and yes, there was much celebration among the rest of the Hickoids as angry drummer hurled the cassette out the window of the van driving down the highway that night
Okay, maybe not the greatest story, but I always think of that when I think of the Descendents.

fuckin awesome story.... that gave me a good chuckle, although i think nothing of the decendents
